It is the creator of heat and light and under the right circumstances it can either bring warmth and an illuminating shine or burn and blind you. It is urgent in a way that is stronger than the other elements and harder to ignore. It’s passion demands our attention. How you tend to your fires can color your experience; fire refines and draws us in closer to what is pure. We can use fire to cleanse a room (smudging) with items like sage, palo santo, or sweetgrass. 

It is associated with the 2nd sacral chakra of sex and creation. Sex is considered creation as sex creates all life. Candles can help you to connect with the power of fire for indoor ceremonies, you can give space to tap into your creativity when it strikes, or you can work with sex play (joint or solo) to stir the fire within.
