It exists both within and outside of ourselves and supports us during life transitions as well as the liminal space between existence. It is how we connect to our ancestors, lineage, and our spirit guides, whatever you choose to call them. We are not separate from Spirit, we are all one. Spirit (inside and out) is here to protect us and help us mine gold from our shadows so we can come more fully into the light of our true nature. We all begin in light and love and are constantly being welcomed back into our oneness if we so choose to accept the invitation that beckons us.

Altars are an external cornerstone of this element in many spiritual traditions. They often consist of objects that are symbolic ties to our intentions and the beings we would like support from to manifest our dreams and live fully. They can also provide a space for ritual to connect and honor all beings that came before and all that will come after.
