The Ancestors
Working with our family beyond the veil.
Working with the keepers of the land.
Honoring legacy and learning how to
become a good ancestor
ourselves.
Working with the ancestors is a practice of relationship —
with those who came before, with the land, and with the lineage that lives through you.
We work with the ancestors as guides, witnesses, and kin — tending what has been carried, honoring what has been given, and strengthening the line that continues through you by releasing legacy burdens.
This work invites listening, repair, and support, so what is unresolved can soften and what is resourced can move forward.
This is a space to remember you are not alone.
in relationship
I approach this work with respect. We work slowly, allowing room for what is ready to be acknowledged, repaired, or strengthened.
We work with what is supportive; making contact without overwhelm or romanticization. No bypassing, no idealizing — just being in presence.
At times, there is direct connection with ancestors, loved ones who have passed, or other guiding presences — sitting, listening, and relating as in any meaningful relationship.
I don’t approach the ancestors as an abstract concept.
This is relationship — with discernment, boundaries, and care.
We take time to be curious, to witness, and to come into understanding. From here, the next steps in relationship begin to reveal themselves. This may include processes of repair and release within the lineage, allowing what has been carried to shift over time.
